We are all busy these days and need to get the most out of our appointments. My patients are no different. That’s why Rivr has developed the Triple Action Skin Rejuvenation treatment. In a single treatment, three established and highly effective procedures are safely combined to enhance the effects and make them more permanent.

Collagenous and elastic connective tissues are key components of our skin and play a vital role in the elasticity and firmness of our skin’s appearance. Unfortunately, our skin begins to age from the age of 30, whereby, among other things, the ability to form new collagenous connective tissue in a natural way gradually decreases. The progressive decrease of the collagen is one of the most important factors leading to the characteristic features of aging skin, namely increasing loss of elasticity and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Laser Genesis is one of the biggest technological breakthroughs in the field of skin rejuvenation named “Photorejuvenation”. It is a non-invasive, non-ablative Nd:YAG laser treatment (1064nm) which, together with the microvasculature, also heats the deeper layers of the skin in a controlled manner, inducing stimulation of collagen and elastin production. Collagen and elastin are crucial for the structure, vitality and elasticity of our skin and give it a youthful appearance.

Microneedling, also called percutaneous collagen induction therapy, is a well-established minimally invasive procedure to improve skin texture and quality. Using tiny sterile needles, the skin surface is mechanically damaged in a controlled manner. The natural repair of this damage leads to the regeneration of collagenous and elastic connective tissue and thus to a tightening of the skin and improvement of its quality.

Active ingredients can have targeted effects on the skin. Since microneedling-induced needle pricks perforate the skin, this fact is taken advantage of and combined with the additional introduction of cosmetic active ingredients. These active ingredients penetrate directly and deeply into the skin through the perforations and can thus improve the result of wound healing and achieve additional effects.

At Rivr, we perform cosmetic microneedling with Aquagold® fine touchTM using a special “Micro Channel Technology”. Through 20 micro channels, each thinner than a human hair, we infuse a customized mix of active ingredients directly into the skin, combining the benefits of microneedling with active ingredients deep within the skin.

The cocktail of active ingredients is individualized to your skin structure, specific problems and wishes.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
The treatment with PRP is also known as “vampire lifting”. PRP is extracted from the patient’s own blood and processed by centrifugation. This produces platelet-rich plasma, which can be injected into the skin layers via microneedling. Due to its high concentration in growth factors and proteins, it stimulates the formation of new connective tissue and cell renewal, which has a tightening and rejuvenating effect on the skin’s appearance.

Hyaluronic acid
Hyaluronic acid is an integral part of our skin. It has the property of being able to bind many times its weight in water. The addition of hyaluronic acid to the individualized cocktail leads to increased hydration and firmer skin texture.

Vitamins and antioxidants
Most often, a cocktail of vitamins B, C, A and E is added as an “anti-aging complex.” The mix has an antioxidant effect, stimulates collagen production and improves skin elasticity, pigmentation and texture. The skin is also provided with important vitamins, which are increasingly depleted with age.

Botulinum toxin
The addition of a defined amount of botulinum toxin leads to a reduction in pore size and a smoothing of the smallest skin wrinkles.

The Triple Action Skin Rejuvenation can be used on all skin types and at any adult age and is suitable for the following indications:

Although it is called “Facial” the procedure can be used anywhere on the body, but is most commonly used on the face, neck and décolleté.

The effect of the Triple Action Skin Rejuvenation is aimed at long-term and preventive effects through collagen induction. Since the Facial results in a strikingly radiant complexion and taut skin, especially in the days immediately following the treatment, this treatment is ideally suited as a “Red Carpet Treatment”. If a big event is coming up, such as your own wedding or an important appearance, a Triple Action Skin Rejuvenation performed 2-3 days before can help you achieve a uniquely glow complexion.

Microneedling is suitable for anyone who wants to improve their skin quality and do something good for their skin. Since our skin starts to age from the age of 30, this procedure can also be used preventively. However, Triple Action Skin Rejuvenation are also suitable for advanced aging to boost skin quality.

In the consultat, we will analyze your facial skin and, based on your problems and needs, we will define the appropriate combination of active ingredients. As a second step before the treatment, we will ask for your medical history to make sure that there are no contraindications for the treatment.

The actual treatment is performed in our specially designed treatment room for the Laser Genesis and takes 20 minutes depending on the area to be treated. First, your blood will be drawn to prepare it for the extraction of PRP.

Actionstep 1: The Laser Genesis treatment is performed with the settings pre-designated for it. To protect your eyes, you will wear special glasses. The Laser Genesis treatment is not painful and heats your skin in a controlled way.

Actionstep 2:: The following microneedling with Aquagold® fine touchTM is also not painful and leads to the simultaneous stepwise application of the active substance cocktail in Actionstep 3.

At the end, you let the active substance cocktail dry for a few minutes and relax with us.For best results and sufficient stimulation of the tissue, we recommend repeating the treatment 3 times at 4-week intervals.

After the treatment, you should leave the dried active ingredient mix on the treated area, usually the face, for another 6 hours for maximum effect. Think of it like a dried-up face mask. It is not very noticeable, but it is obvious to your counterpart. That is why we advise you to go home afterwards. After 6 hours, wash your face with a hydrating wash lotion and finally apply a rich night cream.

The next day you will at most have some mild redness and can go right back to your daily routine.

We ask you to avoid sun exposure and apply broad spectrum sunscreen (UVA/UVB) with SPF 50. Strong heat (sauna, steam bath, etc.) should be avoided for 2 days. Otherwise, there is nothing special to consider. You can take up all your habits as usual.

Risks of Triple Action Skin Rejuvenation are usually minimal, very rarely adverse effects may occur, which usually heal spontaneously. A slight redness of the treated area may persist for 1-2 days, depending on the strength of the treatment performed.
