Micro fat for effective wrinkle treatment
In the early days of fat grafting, it was assumed that whole fat cells were only suitable for volume building. Transplantation directly into the uppermost layers of the skin was therefore not considered. However, more recent research results show amazing additional effects of the fat stem cells.
In problem areas around the mouth, hand, neck, décolletés and lips, the use of synthetically produced fillers such as hyaluronic acid sometimes appears unnatural. For these patients or those who do not want foreign material in your body, the use of microfat proves to be a natural and highly effective alternative. “Wrinkles” on the cheek, neck or décolleté respond particularly well to microfat treatment. But the treatment can also be used postoperatively for painful, unsightly scars. In addition, microfat improves pigmentation disorders and dark circles under the eyes.
The decisive effect is based on the stem and growth cells contained in the fat tissue, which stimulate the regeneration of the skin instead of just temporarily filling it up. Fat grafts are successfully used for many treatments:
Volume
Through liposuction, the body’s own fat is extracted and then centrifuged, purified as well as filtered. Using blunt cannulas, the microfat is transplanted drop by drop into the deeper tissue layers.
This is used to build up sunken eyelids, eyebrows, temples, chin or cheeks.
Wrinkle treatment
If individual deep wrinkles need to be corrected, the fat is again filtered and crushed. This fat solution is finally so fine that it can be injected with very fine hypodermic needles. The upper lip and cheek region, deep frown lines as well as the décolleté and the back of the hand are suitable for the procedure.
Skin regeneration with nanofat
Skin regeneration over a wide area is achieved with nanofat therapy. In the fat, the mature fat cells are crushed and filtered out to such an extent that only the stem cells and growth factors remain. This very thin, light foam solution is injected in a fan shape directly under the skin. The treatment can be performed in combination with PRP or needling as an overall therapy of skin rejunivation.
The method has proven to be particularly effective for the treatment of dark circles under the eyes. The transplanted cells need about 2-3 months to heal in order to permanently improve the skin quality and elasticity.
Scar therapy
Painful and hardened scars become significantly softer, less noticeable and less painful after treatment with micro or nano fat. This is attributed to both mechanical scar dissolving, fat relining and the effect of stem cells on pain nerves and skin texture.
Permanently full lips can be achieved with autologous fat as an alternative to fillers. This requires extremely precise fat grafting, possibly in several sessions.
